Angela_Bassett
Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th, 1961) was an American actor. Her work has been recognized for television and in film from the mid-80s onwards, she's been awarded numerous awards including two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett comes born in New York New York. She was raised at Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett along with her sister who were about five years old, emigrated out of New York and into St. Petersburg to live with the mother of their separated father. Bassett was in high school and was a fan of John Steinbeck's production Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she decided to become an actress. The year was 1980 and Bassett was graduated from Yale University New Haven Connecticut with a degree in African American studies. She earned a diploma from the Yale School of Drama. She met Courtney B. Vance, an actress who was also at Yale and they married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Master of Arts (Afro-American study) in 1980. A Master of Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett has been cast in the lead role of Ramonda for the action movie, i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
